Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship - i3 :: i3 International Workshops

i3 – Lifestyle, Sofia

 

 

From 4th to 6th of December 2018 Bulgarian Economic Forum hosted a Workshop on entrepreneurship with the main topic “LIFESTYLE” - a three-day international training within the project „i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship”. The training in Sofia was the first of five to be held in each partner country and it was focused on students and young entrepreneurs aiming to promote territorial development, cooperation and competitiveness within the Balkan - Mediterranean area. The topic of the training in Sofia was "Lifestyle" and the participants in it had business ideas and a desire to develop their own business in this area.

 

The event took place at the Forum Hotel and was attended by over 60 participants and project partners from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece and the FYROM.

 

                   

For lecturers, the Bulgarian Economic Forum invited deputy ministers, university lecturers, experts and successful business people to share their knowledge, years of experience and successful stories on topics such as „What is a business idea”, “Entrepreneurship”, “Startup mistakes”, „Main steps to start a business”, “Budgeting”, “Profit”, “Risk Assessment”, etc. In specialized modules, we considered possibilities for entrepreneurship in Entertainment, Tourism and Wellness Sector. 

 

The training was intensive and dynamic combining theoretical and practical activities. Of course, the participants were most active and enthusiastic when working in teams, which included representatives of the participating countries, contributing towards an international environment. The task in front of each team was to complete the three stages of the i3 model, from the idea through the invention to its offering as an innovation in the market following „Business model canvass“ and “Value Proposition Canvass”. 

 

       

 

Each team had time to present the idea and to answer questions from the jury and the audience. The ideas were highly appreciated and the best of them were awarded in the following categories - BEST BUSINESS MODEL, BEST VALUE PROPOSITION, MOST INNOVATIVE IDEA and BEST PRESENTATION SKILLS.

i3 – IT, Skopje

 

 

From 22 to 24 of January 2019, ten selected young people and entrepreneurs from Bulgaria participated to Workshop on entrepreneurship with the main topic “IT”. The workshop is within the project „i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship” funded by “Balkan – Mediterranean” 2014-2020 Transnational Cooperation Programme.  

 

The event took place at the TCC Plaza Hotel and was attend by over 60 participants and project partners from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece and the FYROM.

 

The Bulgarian trainees were very pleased with the lecturers on the individual topics, the good balance between the theoretical part and the practical teamwork. As an advantage of the seminar, they pointed out the opportunity to meet young people with similar interests from neighboring countries and work in groups in an international and multicultural environment. The participants were very proud with the certificates obtained.

 

The participants express their gratitude to the organizers and lecturers and wish the other participants success in their business ventures.
     

 

 

 

i3 – Technology, Patras

 

 

 

From 19 to 21 February 2019, the wonderful Porto Rio Hotel in Patras, Greece, hosted more than 60 participants from five countries, in the fourth workshop on entrepreneurship with the main topic “Technology”. The workshop is within the project „i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship” funded by “Balkan – Mediterranean” 2014-2020 Transnational Cooperation Programme. Ten young people and two representatives from Bulgaria Economic Forum attend the workshop.

They were impressed by the high level of the lecturers and the workshop organization. Special thanks to our Greece partners and to entire organizational team for the excellent work.

 

      

 

 

i3 – Energy, Larnaca

 

From 17th to 19th of March 2019, ten selected young people and entrepreneurs from Bulgaria participated to Workshop on entrepreneurship with the main topic “Energy”. The workshop is within the project „i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship” funded by “Balkan – Mediterranean” 2014-2020 Transnational Cooperation Programme.  

 

The event took place at the Flamingo Beach Hotel in Larnaca – Cyprus and was attend by participants and project partners from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece and the North Macedonia.

 

The Bulgarian trainees were very happy with sun, hospitality and the whole program. The participants were very proud with the certificates obtained. They would like to express their gratitude to the organizers and lecturers and wish good luck to all participants.   

                             

 

i3 – Eco, Durras 

From 14th to 16th of May 2019, ten selected young people and entrepreneurs from Bulgaria participated to Workshop on entrepreneurship with the main topic “Eco”. The workshop is within the project „i3 – Education for ideas, inventions and innovations for entrepreneurship” funded by “Balkan – Mediterranean” 2014-2020 Transnational Cooperation Programme. 

 

The last workshop took place at the AS Hotel in Durres – Albania and was attend by participants and project partners from fifth project-countries. 

 

       

 

Despite the rainy forecast, Albania welcomed the participants with surprisingly sunny days and a wonderful mood. The workshop topic - Eco is very sensitive nowadays and the attitude towards it even at the level of countries in the region is different. All participants expressed their concerns and offered fresh ideas for new business ventures and initiatives to protect environment and to reduce environmental damage.
